Fundraising Campaign for Oxford University Herbaria

Collected over hundreds of years, around a million specimens are held in Oxford University’s Herbaria, and even includes contributions from Charles Darwin and Carl Linnaeus. However, it’s the collection’s potential to help solve some of today’s biggest challenges that got us involved.

Working with the Herbaria staff and the University’s development team, we created a direct mail campaign to help raise funds to digitise the collection, giving scientists around the world access to aid their research.

We spent some time in the Herbaria where the specimens provided plenty of creative potential and inspired the campaign headline ‘Our planet is pressed for time’. The mailing pack included a vertically-folded leaflet, as well as themed envelope, letter and form.
